BUYING IN STORE:
"What is your return policy?"
Any gown purchased in store from our in house stock can be returned within 24 hours in the same condition as purchased with tags and bagged for store credit, with the exception of sale merchandise. All items on sale are considered final sale. We have a no refund/return/exchange/cancellation policy for special ordered gowns, which is the standard in our industry for special ordered gowns. Every gown is special ordered per your requested size and color. We cannot return them to the manufacturer. We thoroughly check every gown for defects prior to shipping it to you. Should we find a defect, we will contact the manufacturer for a replacement. Should a defect get past our inspection process, we will replace it. You must contact us within three days of receipt for a Return Authorization Number. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number. After verification, a replacement will be sent you at our expense.
"Do you register or track dresses?"
We do keep track of dresses by recording the style of your dress for your high school or event. We will not sell your dress to anyone else that will be attending your prom; not even in a different color.
"Do you offer alterations?"
We do not offer alterations. However, we do have a reputable seamstress that we happily recommend to all of our customers. Her business cards are available at our store.
"How do I get directions to our shop?"
You can put our address (328 Main St., Emmaus, PA 18049) into your favorite map program, or you can call our store at 610-844-4493 and we will be happy to give you directions.
"Buying in our store versus online?"
In the store you are given a personal consultant to walk you through the process of finding your perfect dress. We also carry exclusive lines which are not offered online. We try our best to help every customer both in our shop and online. If you have questions about a dress please call our customer service.
"What is a personal consultant?"
In the store you get matched with one of our employees who works directly with you and your family. The consultant will walk through the styles with you, help assist with dressing you, answer any questions, and help find the perfect gown for you. We are also happy to look up available inventory on any dress style you bring in.
"Do you Price Match?"
Yes, we will match the price of any store or website that is an authorized dealer. Scam sites are a major problem in our industry. They misrepresent their validity and take advantage of unsuspecting girls, taking their money without sending a dress, or sending a gown different from what is represented.
WHEN ORDERING ONLINE:
"What can I expect when I order a dress from Le Femme Boutique?"
We take pride in the quality of our dresses and the customer service we provide. Upon receipt of your order we will confirm your order via an email. A second email will arrive when your dress is shipped including tracking numbers. Before your dress is shipped we inspect it thoroughly.
"When will my credit card be charged?"
Your credit card will be charged after we place your order with the manufacturer.
"What is the estimated delivery time?"
All dresses are Special Order for your specific size and color. If the dress is in stock at the designers, we can get it in 3-14 days. If the dress is already in production, it can be a few weeks. If the dress needs to be made, it can take up to 20 weeks. It is important that you provide us with a "wear date" and be sure to allow yourself enough time to have your gown altered, if necessary.
"What if I have a definite 'wear date'?"
If you have a specific wear date, please let us know. If we see a potential problem with meeting your needs, we will contact you with your options.
"How do I determine my size?"
Most dress manufacturers provide size charts to aid in choosing the correct size. Be sure to measure carefully and use the size charts listed as they are an accurate measurement of the dresses. We rely on the information you supply to us for sizing of your merchandise. We are not responsible for the incorrect sizing of a gown. Please measure carefully, and remember that any gown may need alterations for a perfect fit. If your measurements are on the border it is usually better to take the larger size and plan on having it altered.
"How do I know you got my order?"
Your order comes directly to us at Le Femme Boutique. When we receive your order and have processed it, you will get a confirmation email.
"What if the dress is unavailable?"
We will contact you as soon as we know any information about the dress you ordered. This includes if the dress is unavailable. If this is the case or is not available until after your event we will call or email you. We try our best to fulfill all your requests, however, if unavailable, we can give you other options. (Other colors, sizes, or similar styles).
"Is my personal information safe?"
We ask users to register on lefemmeboutique.com in order to make a purchase, receive E-mails with special offers or access the site's blog or message board. To register we need your first and last name, E-mail address, and password.
LeFemmeBoutique.com takes every precaution to protect your information. All information entered is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry – SSL. To verify the security of your connection, check the lower left hand corner of your browser window for a closed lock or unbroken key. The gateway we use is fully compliant with the security initiatives put forward by the major credit card providers, including Visa Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP), MasterCard Site Data Protection (SDP), and Discover Information Security and Compliance (DISC).
When making a purchase, we also require that you provide your shipping and billing address, a phone number and credit card information or other payment method information. This information is stored in a secured database, only accessible to employees with access rights to this information. We do not sell, share, or rent your information to other sources.
"How do I know Le Femme Boutique is an authorized retailer?"
Every designer includes the authorized retailers on their online sites. Some designers even include a section where you can put our URL in and it will let you know that we are authorized retailers.

"Why am I being charged tax on my merchandise?"
Pennsylvania requires a 6% sales tax to be charged on evening wear and swimwear.
"How long are the designer gowns?"
Lengths vary from designer to designer, but most gowns are made for girls who are 5'8". However, many are longer and will accommodate girls over 6' tall.
"What if I find a gown I like from one of your designers, but can't find it on your site?"
Some dresses are exclusive designs that can only be found in store, it may be a new design that has not yet been put online, or it may be a discontinued style. If you have any questions about a dress please contact us and we will try our best to answer your questions and find the dress.
